  1. Thanks much!!! after enjoying the video, i had to make onigiri for lunch today!!! Cheers from the other side of the planet 🍙🍘💜

  2. I did noticed the grilled salmon in every breakfast at the hotel we stayed in Japan. 😋 now that I’ve seen this videos I will definitely check 🍙 all three convenient stores next time 🤪😬

  3. It's a little late for this, but to Simply Chris, who donated at the end of the stream, or anyone else with a similar question, typical pan fried spam slices are the best way to go. Traditional spam, eggs, and rice never fails for anyone that's okay with spam.

If you like the fatter pieces, then thicker cuts obviously. If you're like me however, very thin slices are the best (like chips thin). It makes the spam crispy, as if you're eating bacon spam. It's super good with whatever you would normally eat spam with, like rice or bread.

If you want additional flavor, as we do here in Hawaii, a little sugar and shoyu (soy sauce) mixed together that you coat the spam in before you throw it in the pan. The sugar and soy sauce ratio is to taste, so 1:1 or less is normal.

  4. The first time I went to Tokyo, I was alone and I was too shy to eat at restaurants. I mostly ate convenience store food. Onigiri was a revelation 😀

  5. Hi guys!!!! I’ve missed your stuff!
    Justin was beautiful guy!!
O nigiri yummmmmy! I miss Japan so badly. But I don’t want to be near a typhoon 😬😬😬 wishing you good health and love!!!✌🏼❤️✌🏼❤️

  6. Mmmm this gives me lots of ideas for filling my own onigiri at home! I always just do canned tuna + spicy mayo with some furikake mixed in the rice, which is very delicious, but I'm excited to try other fillings!

  7. Thank you for showing this. I can try to make these rice balls at home. Seems easy for me since I make California rolls with Nori Sheets for breakfast sometimes. I enjoy watching you 2 show what you ate as a child. I made a different rice ball once mixing rice with canned tuna and misc seasoning then fried them for a Women's meeting. They were all eaten!

  8. Hi guys, I thought that bonito flakes are called Katsuobushi in japanese. Loves your videos! greetings from Prague.

  9. Onigiri are the janapese food I want to taste the most. Then tempura and sushi and mochi and dango and then everything else. Think I would gain alot of weight and go into food comas for the sheer volume of things I want to eat there

  10. Love you both all your shows .. and I caught the Instagram Shinichi I enjoyed it … And I always hunt for Satoshi's cooking videos on YouTube the food is always delicious and I learn something new .. enjoy all content thank you both
